Style Consultation: Before we meet, I’ll email you some style questions so I can get to know you ahead of the shopping session. What styles and colours do you like and dislike? What do you want to buy? How much do you want to spend? There’ll also be some questions about your work and lifestyle. This all helps me plan your shopping trip ahead of time so we maximise the time shopping.
I also put together a shopping list based on what you want and need, so when we meet, the preparation is done. There’ll be no aimless wandering through the shopping centre.
Personal Shopping: We’ll visit a lot of different stores and you’ll try on a lot of different things. I’ll stick to the shopping list and your budget to make sure you get as much as possible but will also throw a few extra things in the change room for you to try. These might be things you’d never thought about trying on before, but part of the style session is trying new things. You might love them or hate them but it’ll also educate you about what works and what doesn’t, so when you go shopping next time, it’s easier and more enjoyable. I also do a colour analysis, showing you which colours, shades and tones best suit you.
The shopping session is 2 hours and when we’re done I’ll give you ideas on how to style your new pieces.
I am not aligned with any store and do not get a commission from any stores I take you to. There is no pressure to purchase anything. I can also help keep persistent or perhaps intimidating salespeople away.
Add on style service: If you also think your wardrobe is filled with pieces you don’t wear anymore and needs to be reorganised, I do wardrobe makeovers. We’ll remove all the clothing from your wardrobe and go through it piece by piece to decide what to keep and what to get rid of. Click here for more information.
A portion from style sessions goes to local Canberra charity Karinya House, helping mums and babies in need.
