Top 10 for 2023

Everything I buy I have to love. If I don't love it and can't think of several ways to wear it, mix and match it and wear on repeat, I don't get it.

I've curated my wardrobe and have a capsule wardrobe which makes getting dressed everyday pretty easy.

I of course added to my wardrobe this year and here are my favourite pieces.

10. Neutral midi dress

A forever piece added to my wardrobe. A great fit and gives me a bit of a bust. Something I can also dress up and down.

9. Olive green blazer

I love this colour and I don't wear much colour. The cuffed sleeve and the relaxed style were the main selling points for me. It's great with jeans, skirts and over dresses.

8. Cropped bomber jacket

This makes me feel cool and edgy so I had to have it. I actually had a cropped bomber back in the day and wore it to death. I'll do the same with this one. Great with jeans and a tank, with shorts and dresses. Endless options.

7. Matching set

I love it together but also love that I can wear the top and skirt separately to give me additional outfit options. The shirt is a little on the cropped side but works with anything high waisted if you don't want to show off your midriff. The skirt is midi so I tend to wear it with heels to elongate my shorter legs.

6. Denim boots

Look they're not the most comfy pair of shoes I've bought but are fabulous. It breaks up an all black outfit and looks great with white too.

5. Cut out top

This gives off fun and cute and sophisticated at the same time. I've worn it with jeans, a skirt and leather pants.

4. Cargo pants

I'm not one to buy many on trend pieces and I waited a while to find the right cargos. Then I saw these. It was the crop style that got me over the line. They're a great fit and so comfy. I dress them down with sneakers and up with heels.

3. Printed maxi dress

I’m not normally a print person but stepped out my comfort zone a little here. I love the fit and fun vibe.

2. Off shoulder mini dress

I love a black dress and love the off shoulder look so this was a no brainer. It's classy and I love how I feel when I wear it.

1. Denim trench

It was a case of love at first sight. I love a trench coat and think they're so handy for between seasons and this one is fun, cool and versatile.

What you buy and wear should make you feel amazing. Outfits have the power to boost your confidence. Don't underestimate that power.
